Governors and mayors from New York, Michigan, North Carolina, New Mexico, California, New York City, Chicago and elsewhere have all individually failed to follow their own COVID-19 executive orders and restrictions. Virtually every instance of this hypocrisy has been a Democrat elected official who is failing to follow their own rules.
It has become abundantly clear that none of these lying and manipulative elected officials believe that their “guidelines” have anything to do with actual science and health but are more about power and control.
Now, as the Holidays are approaching, some elected officials are putting even heavier restrictions in place, telling families and their friends that they cannot gather in their own private individual homes with more than 10 people. And… Washington State Governor Jay Inslee says, “it’s just too dangerous to gather for the holidays”. We are going to cancel the holidays, but we will do it in the name of love. Really?

From the nation’s capital, where schools are closed through the end of the year to Los Angeles where California Gov. Gavin Newsom declared war on Thanksgiving, mass demonstrations broke out to ring in the excitement of a new president next year.
The global lockdowns due to the COVID-19 pandemic are undoubtedly the most serious infringement on basic human rights and civil liberties experienced by many Western countries in decades, if ever. Among other things, public and private gatherings, religious worship, and enjoying fresh air have been banned or restricted—with public health as the excuse.
However, many leaders who championed the lockdowns have been caught breaking their own restrictions, often for trivial reasons. Here are just 10 examples of this hypocritical “do as I say, not as I do” mentality.
Not only does what we have learned from science about Covid-19 NOT support these draconian personal restrictions, its is ridiculously obvious that these leaders do not actually think that personal freedoms should be so greatly restricted. They expect to be allowed to live under an entirely different set of rules than the rest of us.
If it wasn’t for double standards, these progressive and democrat officials would have no standards at all.
We shouldn’t have to sacrifice so much freedom, safety and sanity because of a virus that has a 99.99% survival rate for people under 69 years old. As cases rise, deaths are not, and hospitals are not reaching capacity. COVID-19 is getting less deadly.
We have learned a great deal about Covid-19 and the confirmed scientific analysis since early 2020. We should protect the vulnerable without trampling out people’s freedoms. Freedom to work, freedom of worship, freedom of association and to gather.
We are all adults and do need nor want a powerful nanny-state telling us what we can or can’t do and punishing us if we don’t comply.
